FIRST Transhipment operation for Bauxite project in Guinea commenced on 18th June with M.V. Cape Legacy (Cape size vessel).

Floating crane with daily throughput capacity of 20,000 MT PWWD was deployed along with two self-propelled barges with capacity of 5000 & 4000 MT each and two flat bottom open hatch barges with capacity of 7500 DWT each.

It also included the assist tug at the jetty and at the loading point along with two loading master’s at the jetty in rotation ensuring safe loading and rotation of the barges.
